CABLE CROSS - SECTION

  1. Primary Coated Optical Fibre - Single mode / Multimode

  2. Tube Filling Compound - Thixotropic gel

  3. Loose Tube – Polyamide/PBTP or other acceptable Thermoplastic material

  4. Dummy Filler (if required) – Polyethylene 

  5. Central Strength Member - Fibre reinforced plastic rod

  6. Water Blocking Media - Water Swellable Tape / Suitable Water Blocking Gel

  7. Inner Sheath - Black Polyethylene

  8. Armour - Corrugated Steel Tape.

  9. Outer Sheath - Black Polyethylene
